Logan Terrell

Founder and owner of Charged-Up K9 LLC Logan has had a passion and love for dogs since an early age. His first adult dog, Diesel, opened his eyes up to the opportunities of working with dogs. From there he grew his skills by learning from other dog trainers that he considers mentors to this day. He has also studied dog behaviors and taught himself German commands to speak with his dogs. He specializes in dog behavior rehabilitation, working with Police K9 dogs, tracking, and basic on and off leash obedience.

Nick Kazlauskas

Manager and trainer of the Illinois' branch of Charged-Up K9 LL, Nick developed his passion for dogs throughout his childhood growing up with a variety of breeds. Nick started off as a client of Charged-Up K9 LLC before he decided to join the team! He has always been intrigued and fascinated with training police K9. Having four dogs of his own all of different breeds (doberman, Belgian malinois, husky, and pit mix), Nick has learned and has a skillset of training all different types of dogs.

Growing up my family always had many dogs of varying breeds: Labradors,  Vizlas, Brittany spaniels, and German Shepherds. My biggest hobbies were exercising with my dogs. We were always riding bikes, swimming, playing hide and seek in the woods and playing  butterflying baseball in the back fields. It wasn't until I dove into the literature world that I realized people like me have taken things to levels I didn’t know even existed. The information on training dogs was addictive. Hide and seek quickly turned into lay and scent for a mile and teaching my dog to track. Fetch quickly turned into working for the ball as a reward for outstanding obedience. My  reputation as “The Dog Whisperer” I had as a child was destined to stick with me forever.

Over the next couple years I continued to grow my business.  I moved to a commercial facility after outgrowing working from home.  I have worked with a lot of great trainers and companies all over the country including California, Ohio, Illinois, South Carolina, and Florida.   I have successfully completed over 1000 boards  and trains and countless private lessons with clients. The ford transit is my dream car and The Dog Man and The Dog Mobile are ready to get to work for you!
